why doesn't this ever happen in my classes?
isn't it wonderful when higher education meets high theatre?here's three minutes of fun by way of google video and orgtheory.net. i'm lovin' the look on professor valentini's face. he seems like such a nice guy.
i'd share some yarns about pranks from my undergrad days, but bascom hill croquet n' martinis pale in comparison to this one.
rumor has it that the irrepressible woz will be my deviance teaching assistant this fall. i'll look forward to (or, more precisely, be braced for) something similar during one of my windier lectures this semester.

Uggen, you best believe I'm giong to do stuff like this. I'm well familiar with prankstgrup (an even better sketch is when grad students panhandle the only good they have--expertise in a narrowly defined field. It has great clips of them doing very intense lectures on NY subways and then passing a hat afterwards. Something I've long considered for the light rail).
Believe it or not, when I was in undergrad, a group of very dorky friends of mine and I organized a musical in the dinning hall. At a pre-ordained gesture, we all got up frmo our various tables, did a 3 minute long choreographed song, held our final pose for a few moments while a couple of people ackwardly clapped, and then all sat down and went back to our lunches as if nothing had happened, musical style.
We had wayyy to much time on our hands.
i loved the video...yet somehow i can't see it happening in your class daddio...
maybe that's because you've never seen me lecture...
